NinjaOne: $500 Million (Series C Extension) Raised At $5 Billion Valuation To Transform Automated Endpoint Management

By Amit Chowdhry • Feb 24, 2025

NinjaOne, an automated endpoint management platform, today announced $500 million in Series C extensions at a $5 billion valuation. This funding came in separate tranches led by ICONIQ Growth and CapitalG, Alphabet’s independent investment fund, with participation from other prominent private investors.

The funding will drive research and development focused on autonomous endpoint management, autonomous patching and vulnerability remediation, and expanded IT use cases that improve employee experiences with devices. It will also support retaining the company’s over-investment in support and provide funding for the company’s pending acquisition of SaaS backup and data protection leader Dropsuite.

NinjaOne has no debt and remains a founder-led and controlled business after the Series C extensions. And co-founders Sal Sferlazza and Chris Matarese remain the biggest equity holders in the company, have majority control of the Board of Directors, and hold a majority of the company’s voting power. NinjaOne has over 24,000 customers, including Nvidia, Lyft, Cintas, Vimeo, HelloFresh, The King’s Trust, and Porsche. The company’s record over the past year included:

— Announcing its intent to acquire SaaS backup and data protection leader Dropsuite for $262 million

— Launching 20 product releases such as NinjaOne AI for Patch Sentiment, NinjaOne Mobile Device Management (MDM), and free Warranty Tracking
