NIO reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of RMB32.14 billion, or $4.74 billion, increasing 69.1% year over year and 25.9% sequentially.
Vehicle deliveries reached 107,658 units, up 49.4% from a year earlier and 29% from the first quarter. Deliveries included 60,945 NIO-brand vehicles, 29,124 ONVO vehicles and 17,589 FIREFLY vehicles.
Vehicle sales increased 80.1% year over year to RMB29.06 billion, or $4.28 billion.
Gross profit increased 211.3% to RMB5.91 billion, or $870.5 million, while gross margin expanded to 18.4% from 10% a year earlier. Vehicle margin reached 18.5%.
NIO reported an operating loss of RMB347.2 million, compared with RMB4.91 billion a year earlier. On an adjusted basis, the company generated RMB206.9 million of operating profit.
Net loss narrowed to RMB528 million, or $77.8 million, from RMB4.99 billion a year earlier. Adjusted net profit was RMB26.1 million.
NIO ended June with RMB56.7 billion, or $8.4 billion, in cash and cash equivalents, restricted cash, short-term investments and long-term time deposits.
For the third quarter, NIO expects deliveries of 108,000 to 111,000 vehicles, representing year-over-year growth of 24% to 27.5%.
