Noble Investment Group has appointed Matt Noland as Director of Capital Markets, adding an executive with experience across hotel investments and nearly $1 billion of debt and equity placements to its more than $5 billion hospitality investment platform.
Noland will focus on strategic asset realizations along with debt origination and management across Noble’s portfolio.
He joins Noble from Peachtree Group, where he worked across portfolio management and hospitality investment transactions.
His responsibilities included acquisitions and dispositions of hotel assets, giving him experience across both investment execution and portfolio management.
Earlier in his career, Noland was part of JLL’s Debt Capital Markets team.
At JLL, he supported the placement of nearly $1 billion of debt and equity capital for acquisitions, refinancings and ground-up development projects.
He also held credit and investment banking roles at Truist Securities and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
The appointment gives Noble additional capital markets expertise spanning acquisition financing, ongoing asset management, and disposition.
Noble focuses exclusively on travel and hospitality investments and manages more than $5 billion in assets.
Founded in 1993, the firm invests for institutional investors including public pension plans, endowments, foundations, insurers and wealth managers.
Noble’s vertically integrated platform combines investment, asset management, design and development and operating capabilities.
The firm’s primary areas include upscale select-service hotels, upscale extended-stay properties and branded long-term accommodations.
Noland will work within that platform to help structure debt, manage capital markets exposure throughout investment hold periods, and execute asset realizations.
