Noble Mobile, the wireless carrier founded in 2025 by entrepreneur and former U.S. presidential candidate Andrew Yang, announced the acquisition of Helium Mobile, bringing together two companies focused on making mobile connectivity more affordable for consumers.

As part of the transaction, Noble Mobile will also utilize the Helium Network, described as the world’s largest people-powered network. The agreement will allow Noble Mobile subscribers to access expanded wireless coverage across the United States through the Helium Network’s infrastructure.

Noble Mobile launched as the first wireless carrier designed to reward customers for using less mobile data, while Helium Mobile entered the market in 2023 with affordable phone plans that combine nationwide 5G coverage with subscriber incentives. The acquisition aligns the two companies around a shared goal of reducing wireless costs for consumers and returning more value to subscribers.

The companies said they will work together to ensure a seamless transition for existing Helium Mobile customers. Subscribers will continue receiving service through the same nationwide 5G network and the Helium Network. Noble Mobile customers will also gain access to additional coverage supported by the Helium Network’s growing footprint.

According to the companies, the Helium Network currently supports millions of subscribers daily through Helium Mobile and other major carriers. The network is powered by approximately 137,000 user-operated Hotspots, often referred to as “mini cell towers,” deployed across the United States.

Noble Mobile said the acquisition strengthens its ability to deliver affordable connectivity while expanding network reach and coverage. The combined organization plans to continue focusing on lowering wireless costs and increasing access to reliable mobile service for consumers nationwide.

KEY QUOTES:

“Most Americans don’t think about their phone bill as an economic issue, but it is. It’s money leaving their pocket every single month for a service that should cost a fraction of what the big carriers charge. Noble Mobile and Helium Mobile were both built to change that, and through this acquisition, we’re committed to reaching even more people that this industry has ignored for too long.”

Andrew Yang, CEO, Noble Mobile

“We launched Helium Mobile because we built a network powered directly by people that offered an affordable alternative to anything the legacy carriers have tried. That model meant passing those savings on to subscribers. Noble Mobile saw the same opportunity from a different angle, but with the same end goal: Americans paying less to stay connected. This acquisition makes the vision bigger and more unstoppable than either of us alone.”
