Nokken, a global modular cabin provider, announced it has acquired Finnish specialist cabin company Space of Mind as part of a strategic expansion into design-led wellness. The deal brings Space of Mind’s modular cabin and sauna range into The Nokken Group Limited’s ecosystem, formally broadening its offering into wellness-focused ritual and recovery experiences.
Under the acquisition, the Space of Mind product line will be integrated alongside Nokken’s core cabin portfolio and its Softshell range. The move represents a key step in Nokken’s ambition to build a comprehensive, design-led modular hospitality and retreat platform that unites architecture, wellness, and ritual into a cohesive experience.
Space of Mind is known for its Nordic craftsmanship, modern construction methods, and lightweight, flat-packable cabin designs that can be deployed in remote locations. The company’s design philosophy aligns with Nokken’s long-term vision, emphasizing sustainability, thoughtful architecture, and integration with natural environments. The Finnish company joins the group with an established, ready-to-deploy product range, including a sauna designed and built in Finland, and a brand heritage rooted in wellness and craftsmanship.
Strategically, the acquisition expands Nokken’s ability to serve hospitality clients such as hotels, resorts, spas, and retreat destinations. By incorporating Space of Mind’s cabins and saunas, Nokken can now offer high-quality, low-impact wellness infrastructure intended to enhance guest experiences while supporting commercial returns for operators.
Nokken said the addition of Space of Mind strengthens its modular platform by complementing existing offerings and creating a more holistic ecosystem centered on meaningful, nature-integrated spaces.
Founded as a provider of sustainable, high-quality modular cabins for tourism, hospitality, and residential use, Nokken has positioned itself around environmental stewardship and refined design. Space of Mind Oy, based in Finland, creates eco-friendly micro spaces designed to foster wellbeing, creativity, and relaxation, serving private, hospitality, and spa-driven applications globally.
