Limestone Capital, a Swiss private equity firm, has acquired over 30% of Nokken, a UK company specializing in modular cabins. The partnership will support Nokken’s expansion across Europe, the UK, the US, Asia, and Australasia, underscoring Limestone’s commitment to innovative, sustainable hospitality ventures.
Nokken is redefining retreat hospitality with modular cabins that offer fast deployment, lower costs, and immersive experiences in nature. Unlike traditional hotels, Nokken aims to create scalable stays in natural settings, such as forests, mountains, and coastlines. The investment will enable Nokken to form strategic partnerships, strengthen its supply chain, and expand sales and marketing efforts.
With sustainability as a core value, Nokken’s low-impact designs minimise environmental disturbance and infrastructure needs, making them suitable for sensitive or remote locations. Supported by Limestone, Nokken is positioned to lead the sustainable retreat sector and set new standards for eco-friendly hospitality.
