Nomura Asset Management International has appointed Linda Galsim as Global Head of Product, a newly created role designed to unify the firm’s global product capabilities and accelerate development across institutional and wealth management channels.
Galsim will serve on the firm’s Executive Committee and establish and lead a new Product Management Group.
She will oversee product strategy, development and lifecycle management across equities, fixed income, multi-asset and private markets.
Her responsibilities will also include the evolution of products spanning active ETFs, separately managed accounts, semi-liquid funds, private funds and UCITS.
Galsim brings more than 25 years of asset management and wealth management experience.
For nearly a decade, she served as Managing Director and Head of Product Development & Management at Jennison Associates, a PGIM affiliate.
Earlier in her career, she held senior product leadership positions at Allianz Global Investors and UBS Wealth Management.
Nomura said the appointment is intended to better connect its investment capabilities with changing client demand while creating a more coordinated global product platform.
The company is also looking to deepen its presence across both wealth management and institutional distribution channels.
