Noodle announced it has acquired Unsaddl, a platform that streamlines student loan repayment and tuition reimbursement for employers and employees. The deal strengthens Noodle’s Scholars Network, a platform that connects learners, universities, lenders, and employers to address workforce shortages in healthcare.

The Scholars Network enables scalable, reduced-debt pathways into high-need clinical roles, helping health systems recruit and retain staff while supporting students in pursuing healthcare careers without significant financial barriers. By integrating Unsaddl’s technology, Noodle aims to create a more efficient and reliable system for managing education benefits, ultimately improving workforce development and retention across healthcare organizations.

The acquisition enables employers to more easily offer and administer tuition assistance and loan-repayment programs, while providing employees with clearer, more accessible pathways to advance their education and careers. It also enhances the infrastructure supporting nursing and allied health programs, enabling institutions to expand clinical education capacity nationwide.

Unsaddl’s founders will join the Scholars Network team as part of the integration, which is expected to be completed this spring. The combined platform is intended to deliver a consistent and scalable experience for healthcare employers, employees, and academic institutions, reinforcing efforts to address critical staffing shortages and reduce student debt burdens.
