Nordic, a global healthcare technology and consulting firm, announced the appointment of Alicia Harkness as chief executive officer, effective June 15. Harkness will lead the company as it continues to help healthcare organizations address clinical, operational, and business challenges through technology and consulting services.
Harkness brings more than two decades of leadership experience spanning the public, commercial, and nonprofit sectors. Prior to joining Nordic, she was a founding partner at Guidehouse, where she led the development of the firm’s Global Health business. Under her leadership, the segment grew into one of Guidehouse’s largest enterprise areas within six years.
Throughout her career, Harkness has built integrated portfolios across advisory, technology, and managed services. She has worked closely with executive leadership teams on strategy development, investment priorities, and innovation initiatives, an experience that Nordic said aligns with the company’s growth objectives and long-term direction.
Nordic provides healthcare-focused consulting services with expertise across clinical, operational, and technology functions. The company partners with hospitals and health systems to improve performance, maximize the value of enterprise technologies, and enhance care delivery for patients and practitioners.
