Nordson Corporation has appointed Matthew Matejka to lead its investor relations organization, succeeding Lara Mahoney, who is moving into a new leadership position focused on corporate communications and enterprise talent development.
Matejka will oversee Nordson’s investor relations strategy and serve as the company’s primary liaison to shareholders, analysts and other members of the investment community.
His responsibilities will include communicating Nordson’s financial performance, business priorities and long-term growth strategy. He will also work with the company’s executive leadership team to help investors understand Nordson’s operations, end-market exposure and capital allocation approach.
Matejka joined Nordson in 2023 and most recently served as finance director for the company’s Industrial Coating Solutions division.
His experience within the division provided him with direct exposure to Nordson’s operating model, financial performance and customer applications. The company said his combination of financial, strategic and operating experience positions him to lead relationships with the investment community.
Before joining Nordson, Matejka spent approximately a decade at Materion Corporation, where he held a series of finance and business leadership roles.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.
Mahoney will transition into a leadership role centered on corporate communications and the development of talent across the organization.
She and Matejka will work together during the transition to maintain continuity for investors, analysts and other stakeholders.
Nordson said the appointments demonstrate the depth of its internal leadership team and its emphasis on developing executives capable of supporting the company’s continued growth.
Founded in 1954 and headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, Nordson is a precision technology company that develops equipment and systems used to dispense, apply and control adhesives, coatings, polymers, sealants, biomaterials and other materials.

Nordson’s direct sales model and application expertise allow it to work closely with customers across technically demanding and mission-critical applications.
Its end markets include consumer non-durable products, medical technology, electronics and industrial manufacturing.
Nordson maintains operations and support offices in more than 35 countries.
