Norris McLaughlin has added David “Neil” Hittinger as a member of the firm’s Business Law practice group in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The appointment expands the firm’s capabilities across technology transactions, data privacy, regulated industries, corporate governance, and complex commercial matters.
Hittinger advises clients on technology and data privacy, casino gaming and sports betting, healthcare regulation, corporate governance, intellectual property, technology licensing, and commercial agreements. His experience includes advising organizations such as DIS Study Abroad in Scandinavia and Ramboll Management Consulting, along with work involving a mid-Atlantic Am Law 200 firm, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
The firm said Hittinger’s combination of transactional experience and regulatory knowledge fits the needs of companies that increasingly operate across overlapping legal, technology, and compliance requirements. His work is expected to support clients on both day-to-day commercial matters and strategic projects involving contracts, licensing, governance, and risk management.
Hittinger earned his J.D. from Penn State Dickinson Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholar, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He joins a Business Law group that serves businesses, higher education institutions, government agencies, international organizations, and other clients across a range of industries.
Norris McLaughlin is a multi-practice commercial law firm with offices in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The firm has nearly 130 attorneys working across more than 25 legal disciplines and industry-focused groups and serves clients ranging from middle-market companies to Fortune 500 businesses.
The addition also expands the bench in Norris McLaughlin’s Pennsylvania offices for clients that need coordinated advice across transactional and business matters. Hittinger’s background working with closely held companies and business owners is expected to complement the firm’s existing corporate capabilities in the region.
