Nortal has announced the acquisition of Accela’s Middle East division, further expanding its regional footprint and strengthening its long-standing partnership with Accela. The transition took effect on October 1, 2025. The move reinforces Nortal’s strategy to enhance support for public sector modernization initiatives across the Middle East.
With this acquisition, Nortal has taken ownership of Accela’s Middle East legal entity and now serves as the exclusive licensing entity for Accela solutions in the region. Existing teams, projects, and operations will continue uninterrupted to ensure consistent service and delivery to customers.
The acquisition is expected to deepen collaboration between the two companies and provide agencies in the Middle East with improved access to cloud-based and AI-powered government solutions. Nortal intends to leverage its regional presence along with Accela’s technology platform to accelerate modernization and improve public services. Day-to-day business relationships and communications will now be managed directly by Nortal’s regional team.
Both organizations see the transition as a strategic opportunity to deliver more seamless service, strengthen customer engagement, and support digital transformation initiatives across government entities in the region.
