North American Construction Group has appointed Brad Rogers as President and Chief Executive Officer effective December 1, 2026, selecting an executive with more than 30 years of experience across mining, industrial services, engineering, infrastructure and corporate finance.

Rogers will also join North American Construction Group’s Board of Directors on December 1.

His appointment follows a global executive search conducted over several months that evaluated both internal and external candidates.

Rogers brings experience from both the mining owner and contractor sides of the industry as well as exposure to infrastructure projects across Australia, Asia, South Africa and the Americas.

Since August 2022, Rogers has served as CEO and Managing Director of Jupiter Mines.

Jupiter is an ASX-listed mining company and the world’s largest listed pure-play manganese producer through its 49.9% interest in the Tshipi manganese mine in South Africa.

Before joining Jupiter, Rogers was CEO and Managing Director of Bis Industries, a provider of production services to mining and industrial customers in Australia and Indonesia.

He originally joined Bis in 2008 as General Manager of Commercial.

Rogers later served as Director of Corporate Development and CFO before becoming CEO and Managing Director in 2015.

His career combines operational leadership with experience across corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, business development, investor relations and organizational transformation.

Rogers is also a Chartered Accountant.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University in Western Australia and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia.

North American Construction Group provides heavy civil construction and mining services across Canada, the United States and Australia.

The company has operated for more than 70 years and serves mining, resource and infrastructure construction markets.

Its board sees Rogers’ background in asset-intensive businesses and global mining markets as well suited to the company’s current opportunity set.

Board Chair Martin Ferron described the period ahead as the most opportunity-rich he has witnessed during his nearly 50-year career.

The incoming CEO will inherit an operating platform that has expanded geographically and across mining and infrastructure services.

Rogers is expected to focus on developing growth opportunities while maintaining relationships with customers, employees, suppliers and investors.

Barry Palmer has been serving as CEO during the search process.

Ferron credited Palmer with providing the stability that allowed the board to conduct an extensive search and said he will leave Rogers with a solid operating base from which to pursue future growth.
