Northern Trust Wealth Management announced the appointment of Alyssa Quinlan as Head of Advisor Relationships & Strategic Partnerships, as the firm looks to expand its capabilities serving clients with complex wealth needs, including fine art and collectibles. Quinlan will report to Global Head of Sales David Albright and will lead the firm’s engagement with professional advisors across law, accounting, and investment consulting.
In this role, Quinlan will focus on strengthening collaboration between Northern Trust and external advisory networks that support high-net-worth clients. The firm said these relationships are increasingly important as clients seek guidance on specialized assets such as art collections, where valuation, liquidity planning, and estate strategies require coordinated expertise. Quinlan is also expected to help build a dedicated platform tailored to collectors and families with significant art holdings.
Quinlan brings 25 years of experience spanning wealth management, private banking, and fine art. She most recently served as CEO of Freeman’s Auctions & Appraisals, where she led firmwide operations, strategic growth initiatives, and a major merger integration. Earlier in her career, she launched and managed the Chicago office of Gurr Johns and held senior roles at J.P. Morgan Chase, BMO Private Bank, Smith Barney/Citigroup Asset Management, Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, and Peterson Consulting.
Beyond her professional experience, Quinlan is active in several organizations, including YPO, The Economic Club of Chicago, The Chicago Network, and the Chicago Estate Planning Council. She also supports arts and cultural institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Luminarts Cultural Foundation, and the Women’s Board of Ravinia.
Northern Trust Wealth Management serves affluent individuals, families, family offices, foundations, and privately held businesses, with $507.2 billion in assets under management as of the end of 2025.
