Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $66.04 million U.S. Navy delivery order covering engineering retrofits, material and spares for fielded MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft systems operated by the U.S. Navy and Royal Australian Air Force.
The firm-fixed-price delivery order, N0001927F1026, was issued under basic ordering agreement N0001925G0003.
The award covers recurring engineering retrofit efforts supporting 17 engineering change proposals for the U.S. Navy and 16 engineering change proposals for the Royal Australian Air Force.
The work supports fleet standardization and mission readiness across the two operators’ Triton fleets.
Northrop Grumman will perform most of the work in Hayward, California, accounting for about 63% of the effort.
Another 31% will be performed in San Diego, California.
Smaller portions will be performed in Red Oak and Waco, Texas; Tukwila, Washington; Elyria, Ohio; Irvine, California; and other locations across the continental U.S.
Work under the delivery order is expected to be completed in June 2030.
The Navy will obligate approximately $53.61 million in fiscal 2026 aircraft procurement funds at the time of award.
Another approximately $12.44 million will be provided through Royal Australian Air Force cooperative-program funding.
The delivery order was not competitively procured.
Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
