Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright announced the addition of prominent partners John Bonnet III and Mark Pendleton to its Dallas office, continuing the expansion of its corporate, M&A, and securities practice. The pair are joined by senior counsel Larry McFarland and associate Hannah Choi, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in private equity, healthcare, and energy transactions.
The firm’s corporate, M&A, and securities group includes 450 partners and 700 additional deal lawyers advising on complex transactions worldwide. In 2026, Norton Rose Fulbright has accelerated growth in its business transactions practice with the addition of eight U.S. partners, including a five-partner team specializing in corporate, private equity, healthcare, finance, and tax matters.
John Bonnet III brings decades of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, investment funds, commercial lending, corporate governance, and general business transactions. His client base spans startups, investment fund sponsors, strategic and passive investors, boards of directors, and executive leadership teams. He also advises companies on strategic alliances and capital access through equity and debt offerings.
Mark Pendleton focuses his practice on company and asset sales, mergers, financing transactions, private equity structures, corporate governance, regulatory matters, and joint ventures. His experience is concentrated in private equity, healthcare, and energy, with clients including investors, independent sponsors, management service organizations, hospitals, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and healthcare startups.
The group joins from Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, where Bonnet previously served as managing partner of the Dallas office. Both Bonnet and Pendleton are licensed to practice in Texas.
