Nourish announced a $100 million Series C round, bringing the company’s total funding to $215 million as it expands its AI-powered metabolic healthcare platform focused on reversing chronic disease. The funding round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners. As part of the investment, Menlo Ventures partner J.P. Sanday will join Nourish’s board.

Founded four years ago, Nourish has built what it describes as the country’s largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. The company plans to use the new funding to expand its clinical network, invest further in AI agents for patients and providers, broaden its metabolic clinic care model, and deepen relationships with health plans, employers, and health systems.

Nourish said nearly 200 million Americans live with nutrition-related chronic conditions, which are among the leading contributors to the nearly $5 trillion spent annually on U.S. healthcare. The company’s virtual care model combines Registered Dietitians with AI-powered health agents, lab testing, GLP-1 prescribing and medication management, and additional virtual medical care coordinated with patients’ existing healthcare providers.

According to the company, its care model has generated clinical outcomes including 8% weight loss, a 1.3-point A1C reduction, a 31-point LDL cholesterol reduction, and a 23-point systolic blood pressure reduction. Nourish also said its platform delivers more than $2,000 in annual cost savings per patient for health plans.

The company’s AI health agent, integrated into its patient-facing mobile application, is designed to proactively support behavior change and coordinate care. Nourish also deploys AI copilot agents for providers to automate administrative work and surface real-time patient insights.

Nourish said it has grown its network to more than 10,000 Registered Dietitians, completed millions of appointments, and more than tripled year-over-year. The company also noted that it has partnerships with hundreds of health plans representing more than 200 million covered lives, while tens of thousands of providers across more than 250 health systems refer patients into the platform.

KEY QUOTES:

“Chronic disease is the largest cost driver in U.S. healthcare, and the system still isn’t built to treat it. Too often, patients get expensive, reactive, fragmented care that doesn’t actually make them healthier. We’ve built the care model and technology to change that — driving the behavior and lifestyle change that delivers real clinical outcomes at a low cost and great patient experience. The demand from patients, providers, health plans, employers, and health systems has never been clearer, and this round positions us to meet it at scale.”

Aidan Dewar, Co-Founder and CEO of Nourish

“Chronic disease is the central failure of U.S. healthcare — nearly 200 million Americans affected, trillions spent, and outcomes that still don’t move. What Nourish has built in four years is remarkable: a care model that actually bends the cost curve, with 10,000 dietitians, deep payer relationships, and clinical outcomes patients stick with. Most companies get one of those things right. Nourish has all of them. We’re proud to lead this round.”
