NowVertical Group announced that its board of directors has appointed Andre Garber, the company’s Chief Development Officer and co-founder, as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
The Toronto-based data and AI solutions provider said the appointment comes as the board begins a search for a permanent CEO to lead the company through its next phase of growth. The search is being led by Board Chair Elaine Kunda.
According to the company, the next permanent CEO is expected to have experience leading enterprise data and AI transformation initiatives while scaling a global services business, integrating acquisitions, and driving organic growth.
Garber has played a key role in the company since its founding and has previously provided leadership during transitional periods. He will be supported by NowVertical’s senior leadership team, including Santiago Trógolo, Executive Vice President for Latin America, Shailesh Mallya, Executive Vice President of Solutions and Services, and Pankaj Ghag, Executive Vice President of Program Delivery and Operations.
NowVertical also announced that former CEO Sandeep Mendiratta has concluded his tenure with the company.
