NTT DATA has acquired The Cloud People Group AS, one of Europe’s largest pure-play ServiceNow partners, in a move aimed at expanding its ServiceNow expertise and strengthening its geographic reach across the Nordics, Central Europe, and additional international markets.
The Cloud People, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Oslo, Norway, will join NTT DATA Business Solutions, a business unit of NTT DATA. The company operates offices across Northern Europe, the United States, and Brazil. It provides ServiceNow services for medium and large enterprises across workflows, including IT service management, incident, problem, and change management, automation of routine tasks, resource planning, employee onboarding and offboarding, customer service, and security operations.
NTT DATA Business Solutions said the deal adds 130 active customers to its portfolio and brings The Cloud People’s specialized ServiceNow delivery capabilities into its broader enterprise services platform, which has historically been anchored by decades of SAP implementation and managed services expertise.
The Cloud People has also positioned itself around ServiceNow’s AI roadmap through a dedicated AI Center of Excellence. The company said it has delivered measurable results for more than 20 clients across Northern Europe, and expects its innovation work to scale further by tapping into NTT DATA Business Solutions’ global footprint and delivery resources.
The acquisition arrives as ServiceNow, and NTT DATA continue to deepen their strategic relationship around AI-driven enterprise transformation. As part of that collaboration, ServiceNow has named NTT DATA a strategic AI delivery partner, with the two organizations working to co-develop and market AI-enabled solutions intended to accelerate automation and operational efficiency for global enterprises.
Following the transaction, The Cloud People will continue operating as an independent company, using the brand name “The Cloud People, an NTT DATA Business Solutions company.”
