Numos: $4.25 Million Raised For AI Finance Platform Built For CFO Trust

By Amit Chowdhry ● Apr 4, 2026

Numos, an AI platform designed for enterprise finance teams, announced it has raised $4.25 million in seed funding led by General Catalyst, with participation from Operator Collective. The company is building a platform that integrates with existing finance systems to continuously analyze transactions across accounting tools, billing platforms, data warehouses, and spreadsheets, enabling faster and more strategic decision-making.

The funding comes amid growing momentum for AI adoption in finance, even as many CFOs remain cautious due to concerns around data quality, integration complexity, and lack of transparency in AI systems. Numos aims to address these challenges by offering a system that connects fragmented financial data, surfaces the drivers behind financial changes, and provides a clear audit trail for every insight generated.

Unlike traditional black-box AI tools, Numos emphasizes transparency by showing its sources, reasoning, and step-by-step processes across workflows such as variance analysis, reconciliations, and quote-to-cash automation. The company reports that customers are achieving significantly faster financial planning and analysis cycles and reducing the time required to close their books by more than half.

Numos is already gaining traction with enterprise customers, including private and public companies such as Dandy and Udemy, reflecting increasing demand for AI solutions that finance teams can trust and verify within their existing systems.

The company was founded by Parijat Sarkar and Mitul Tiwari, who bring experience across finance, enterprise software, and AI. Sarkar previously served as a senior vice president at Zenefits, while Tiwari spent a decade building large-scale AI systems at LinkedIn and ServiceNow. Advisors include Sue Taylor, former Chief Accounting Officer of Meta, and Kieran Snyder, VP of AI Transformation at Microsoft.

The funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand the company’s engineering team as it continues building out its AI-driven finance platform.
