NuSummit has appointed Kunal Purohit as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer as the technology services company looks to expand its AI, cybersecurity, cloud, data and digital transformation businesses.
Purohit succeeds Anantharaman Sreenivasan, known as Ganesh, who led NuSummit through five years of growth, integration and transformation.
Sreenivasan will transition from the Managing Director and CEO role immediately and will remain an Executive Director on NuSummit’s Board through March 31, 2027, helping support the leadership transition.
Purohit brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling businesses centered on modern technologies.
He previously held senior leadership roles at Tech Mahindra and HCL Technologies, where he worked with clients on redesigning business processes and generating business outcomes using cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud and data technologies.
His appointment comes as NuSummit sees growing convergence among those areas within enterprise technology environments.
The company believes organizations increasingly need to address AI, cybersecurity, data and cloud infrastructure as connected elements of broader business transformation rather than as separate technology initiatives.
Purohit has also been recognized by Entrepreneur India as one of the country’s Top 25 Tech Trailblazers. IIM Indore awarded him its Distinguished Alumni Award for his work and impact in artificial intelligence.
He also serves on the boards of several startups.
