Nyobolt, a developer of ultra-fast charging and high-power battery technologies, announced a $60 million Series C funding round at a $1 billion valuation to accelerate development of energy systems for autonomous machines, physical AI applications, and AI data centers. The round was led by Symbotic, with participation from IQ Capital, Latitude, Scania Invest, and CBMM.
According to the company, the funding follows a period of rapid commercial growth, with revenue increasing fivefold year-over-year as demand rises for power infrastructure supporting robotics, autonomous systems, and AI workloads.
Nyobolt develops high-power battery systems designed for environments where downtime and charging interruptions are critical operational constraints. The company said its technology is intended for applications including autonomous warehouse robotics, humanoid robots, industrial automation systems, and AI data center infrastructure.
The company said its battery technology is already deployed in Symbotic’s SymBot autonomous mobile robots, where the systems provide six times more energy capacity than ultracapacitors previously used, while also being 40% lighter and offering at least ten times the cycle life of traditional lithium-ion technologies.
Nyobolt also said it is working with a leading humanoid robotics developer to improve work-to-charge ratios for humanoid robot systems.
Nyobolt was founded in 2019 by Sai Shivareddy and was created to develop high-power, fast-charging battery technologies capable of supporting continuous industrial and AI-driven operations. The company combines proprietary anode materials, battery cell designs, and integrated power electronics to improve charging speed, power density, and lifecycle durability.
The company is also expanding internationally and recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the state of Rajasthan in India to support more than 100 MW of off-grid AI data centers and power management infrastructure projects.
