O2 Investment Partners announced that it had appointed Thomas Girdler as its newest Senior Associate. Girdler will oversee new transactions, due diligence, underwriting, and work with O2’s portfolio companies.
Girdler joins O2 from Concentric Equity Partners in Chicago, where he was a Senior Associate. And at Concentric, Girdler was responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, executing investments, and supporting portfolio companies.
Before working at Concentric, Girdler was an Investment Banking Analyst at Lincoln International, where he supported M&A processes in the Global Industrials group. Girdler graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration, concentrating in Finance and Accounting.
Last year, O2 Investment Partners revealed that they closed Fund IV at $445 million. Founded in 2010, O2 utilizes its family office roots to partner with the entrepreneurial management teams of family- and founder-owned businesses positioned for long-term growth.
