Obra Capital has appointed Colleen Kilfoyle as Chief Compliance Officer, adding the former Sculptor Capital Management executive to its senior management team.
Kilfoyle will report directly to Stephen Kirkwood, Chief Legal Officer of Obra Capital, and will lead the alternative asset manager’s regulatory strategy as the firm expands across new strategies, products and geographies.
She joins Obra after more than a decade at Sculptor Capital Management, most recently serving as Executive Managing Director and Partner, Chief Compliance Officer, and Chief Litigation & Regulatory Counsel. Sculptor managed approximately $37 billion during her tenure.
At Obra, Kilfoyle will enhance the firm’s compliance monitoring infrastructure and technology capabilities, expand the compliance team, and support the firm’s relationships with investors and counterparties.
She previously spent seven years overseeing firm and fund litigation, enforcement matters and regulatory inquiries at Sculptor. Earlier in her career, Kilfoyle practiced as a litigation associate at Dickstein Shapiro and Bingham McCutchen.
Obra specializes in alternative investment strategies across insurance and credit and operates businesses spanning CLO management, commercial real estate lending and indirect automobile finance.
The firm’s registered investment advisors managed approximately $8.3 billion in assets as of July 30, 2026.
