Odeeo is a company that offers an innovative in-game audio advertising platform. Pulse 2.0 interviewed Odeeo co-founder and CEO Amit Monheit to gain a deeper understanding of the company.
Amit Monheit’s Background
Could you tell me more about your background? Monheit said:
“Prior to starting Odeeo I worked in ad tech for over a decade, at some of the biggest Israeli ad tech companies. My background specifically was on the commercial side, building and managing global partnerships with some of the biggest demand and supply partners in advertising and ecomm.”
Formation Of The Company
How did the idea for the company come together? Monheit shared:
“I met my co-founder Elad when we both were working at IronSource, where we had the opportunity to witness first-hand the exponential growth of the mobile gaming industry. I moved to work for a voice tech startup where I’ve learned about the rise of digital audio advertising and realized there was a lot of room for innovation in this space.”
“Elad and I had a shared belief that there needed to be innovation in the in-game monetization space. It was early in COVID and we had this eureka moment when we realized that there could be a great synergy between audio advertising and mobile gaming. We sat at my in-laws’ kitchen table and mapped out the start of what would become Odeeo. We both knew that after years of working for large tech companies, we wanted to start something of our own.”
Core Products
What are the company’s core products and features? Monheit explained:
“We built the industry’s leading SDK for in-game audio advertising, with a full suite of supporting tech that enables us to match advertisers from around the world with the right ad opportunities in over a thousand mobile games.”
Evolution Of The Company’s Technology
How has the company’s technology evolved since its launch? Monheit noted:
“We’re committed to providing developers with the absolute best experience possible to monetize their games, and so we’ve launched a number of supporting features since we first came to market. That includes a self-service portal as well as adapters to make it easy to integrate us with their mediation platforms. And our team is focused on ensuring maximum stability and dependability, we want to be among developers’ most reliable partners.”
Significant Milestones
What have been some of the company’s most significant milestones? Monheit cited:
“We’ve had a number of milestones, and the early ones came often; integrating with our first of the Top 10 global game publishers, and launching our partnership with Global in the UK. Most recently one of our biggest milestones was opening our US entity in 2024, establishing ourselves in the most critical advertising market globally.”
Customer Success Stories
When asking Monheit about customer success stories, he highlighted:
“We’ve done case studies with brands like EE and Costa Coffee in the UK, who both reported significant brand lift – 10%+ – as a result of incorporating Odeeo’s in-game audio ads into their media plans. A number of other advertisers we can’t name have seen more down-funnel results, like improved acquisition costs and store visits.”
Total Addressable Market
What total addressable market (TAM) size is the company pursuing? Monheit assessed:
“We’re going after the massive in-game advertising opportunity, which is expected to reach $169 billion in 2029.”
Differentiation From The Competition
What differentiates the company from its competition? Monheit concluded:
“Our team is built from experienced in-game and mobile executives, with decades of experience under our collective belt. We really understand the needs of advertisers and publishers, and how to build reliable products along with delivering exceptional service.”
