Okapi Partners Names Nina Aicardi As Managing Director

Okapi Partners has appointed Nina Aicardi as Managing Director, adding a veteran corporate governance and proxy advisory executive to its leadership team.

Aicardi will advise corporate clients and institutional investors globally on proxy contests, governance issues, M&A situations and annual and special shareholder meetings.

Before joining Okapi, Aicardi served as Head of Corporate Governance, Americas at T. Rowe Price, where she was the lead governance and engagement specialist working with investment teams and issuers.

Previously, she was a senior member of Institutional Shareholder Services’ Special Situations Group and developed voting recommendations on prominent proxy contests and contentious M&A situations.

Aicardi also brings more than 15 years of previous experience in investment management and investment banking.

She is a CFA charterholder and earned a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
