Okuma America has promoted Summer Cline to Chief Financial Officer as the machine tool company continues investing in its long-term growth strategy.
Cline joined Okuma America in 2018 as Vice President of Finance and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance in 2024.
She currently oversees finance, accounting, commercial operations, human resources and information technology.
As CFO, Cline will continue leading those areas while taking responsibility for strategic financial initiatives supporting Okuma’s growth objectives.
Before joining Okuma America, she served as Vice President of Finance at Charlotte-based Source Technologies.
Cline previously spent more than a decade with Compass Group North America in positions including Project Analyst, Project Manager and Director of Strategic Projects.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a State and Local Tax Consultant at Grant Thornton.
Cline holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina State University.
