OLX Group announced the appointment of Andrew Garrihy as Chief Marketing Officer. He joined the company’s Executive Team and reports to CEO Christian Gisy, effective July 1, 2026.
OLX is a global online classifieds company with nearly 60 million daily listings across 7 markets. Garrihy will lead the company’s next phase of marketing strategy, focusing on demand generation and helping users and professional customers better understand the value of OLX’s marketplaces.
A central part of Garrihy’s role will be embedding AI deeply into OLX’s marketing operations. The company said he will help shape how its marketing teams use AI day-to-day across strategy, execution, and customer engagement.
Garrihy brings international marketing experience across multiple categories and more than 170 countries. He previously served as CMO of OLX Autos between 2022 and 2023 and most recently worked as Senior Advisor to OLX before joining the Executive Team.
Before OLX, Garrihy held senior roles at Huawei, Qualcomm, Samsung, and Vodafone. In those roles, he led global teams focused on strengthening and transforming brands across EMEA, Asia, and LATAM.
OLX described Garrihy as a full-stack marketer with expertise across strategic and technical disciplines. Along with his leadership background, he has hands-on experience building AI agents and digital products.
The appointment follows a period of strong performance for OLX. The company reported global revenue growth of 28% year-over-year to $992 million for the full year ended March 31, 2026.
OLX has also continued investing heavily in AI across its platforms. The company said it has invested more than $200 million in AI since 2018 as it builds AI-native marketplaces across its global brands.
KEY QUOTES:
“One key focus for OLX’s next phase of growth is continuing to harness AI to deliver even greater value for our customers’ businesses and for our users. Andrew’s vision for making AI central to the future of effective marketing, combined with his vast international experience makes him the ideal person to lead us through this next phase.”
Christian Gisy, CEO of OLX
“OLX is accelerating and it is a great time to return to the business. It has a clear vision, strong leadership, leading talent, and importantly, an unrivalled investment in AI across the classifieds industry. This is a genuinely innovative company at an exciting moment, and I’m looking forward to delivering on the opportunity and the ambition. AI will change marketing at the core, not the edges. The winners will pair deep marketing expertise with the skill to direct AI, rebuilding marketing around what it now makes possible rather than bolting it onto how we work today.”
Andrew Garrihy, Chief Marketing Officer of OLX
