Omada, an AI-powered identity security and governance company, announced the appointment of Jakob H. Kraglund as chief executive officer, signaling a new phase of global expansion as enterprises adapt to AI-driven systems and evolving cybersecurity challenges.

Kraglund brings extensive leadership experience in scaling technology businesses and driving digital transformation. He most recently served as CEO of TARGIT, following prior CEO roles at Traen, now part of Formpipe, and Cambio Healthcare Systems. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at Accenture Denmark, including partner and country managing director.

The leadership transition follows the tenure of outgoing CEO Michael Garrett, who led the company over the past six years. The company’s board and investors emphasized Kraglund’s operational expertise and growth track record as key to advancing Omada’s strategy.

Omada is positioning itself to capitalize on the rapid rise of AI agents, cloud-native architectures, and non-human identities, all of which are reshaping enterprise identity governance. The company’s platform focuses on securing access across both human and machine identities, using AI-driven insights and automation to improve compliance, efficiency, and threat detection.

With the new leadership in place, Omada aims to accelerate innovation and expand its capabilities in next-generation identity governance, particularly in managing autonomous systems within defined policies and business constraints.
