Omnia Mechanical Group has announced the acquisition of W&S Motor & Pump. The deal expands Omnia’s pump and motor capabilities while strengthening its ability to serve property owners, managers, boards, facilities teams, and commercial clients throughout the New York region.
Founded in 1929, Omnia Mechanical Group provides coordinated building system services across plumbing, heating and boilers, pumps and motors, fans, controls, and electrical systems. With the addition of W&S Motor & Pump, the company is expanding its technical expertise in motor rewinding, pump repair, preventative maintenance, installation, and distribution.
W&S Motor & Pump has served industrial and commercial customers across the Tri-State area for more than 80 years. The company is known for its work in motor and pump services that help customers reduce downtime and maintain reliable building operations.
Under the acquisition, W&S Motor & Pump will continue operating under its existing brand. Omnia said existing customers can expect continuity in service, communication, and daily support, while current employees are expected to remain in their roles with access to Omnia’s broader operational resources and service network.
The acquisition aligns with Omnia’s strategy of helping New York properties manage critical building systems through a single coordinated partner. By combining pump and motor services with plumbing, heating, boiler, electrical, and maintenance expertise, Omnia aims to provide customers with improved coordination, faster response times, and long-term system reliability.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
