Ondas announced that its subsidiary, 4M Defense, has received a $10 million initial order as part of a broader $50 million demining program tied to Israel’s eastern border security initiative. The award is linked to a larger $1.7 billion infrastructure effort led by the Israeli Ministry of Defense to develop a new border barrier and supporting systems.
The contract represents the first phase of execution under the tender and expands the company’s active demining operations. The project focuses on clearing legacy minefields across large areas to enable construction of new security infrastructure along the border.
With this award, Ondas Inc. now has two active demining programs through 4M Defense with a combined value of approximately $80 million. This includes a previously announced $30 million Israel-Syria border demining initiative, for which the company has already received a $15.8 million order and is working to clear roughly 740 acres. Additional phases across both programs are expected to be authorized over time, potentially expanding total contract values further.
Execution of the eastern border project will rely on 4M Defense’s integrated AI-enabled land intelligence platform. The system combines autonomous ground robots, aerial drone mapping, advanced sensing technologies, and AI-driven data processing to improve detection accuracy, reduce operational risk, and accelerate clearance timelines compared to traditional demining approaches.
The company sees these programs as part of a broader opportunity to scale technology-driven land clearance solutions across additional regions and national security initiatives. By establishing a repeatable operating model that integrates aerial and ground-based intelligence systems, Ondas aims to expand its presence in defense, infrastructure, and security markets globally.
KEY QUOTES:
“We now have two active land clearing programs underway with 4M Defense with approximately $80 million in aggregate value. These are multi-phase programs with defined expansion pathways, providing both near-term revenue visibility and the potential to grow into larger, long-duration engagements. As governments prioritize border security and infrastructure development, we are positioning Ondas to capture a growing share of this market with proven, deployable solutions.”
Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO, Ondas Inc.
“These programs validate our ability to execute at scale and reinforce the role of 4M Defense within the broader Ondas platform. We are establishing a repeatable operating model for large-scale demining that can be deployed across additional programs and geographies, supported by integrated systems of systems capabilities that bring together aerial intelligence, ground robotics, and advanced sensing into a unified framework.”
