Ondas announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire World View Enterprises, building on an existing $10 million strategic investment and partnership between the two companies. The transaction is aimed at creating a unified, multi-domain, AI-powered intelligence platform spanning stratosphere, air, and land.
World View specializes in high-altitude balloon-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, along with stratospheric remote sensing. The company has completed more than 140 stratospheric flight operations with payloads of up to 10,000 kg and has served customers including NASA, NOAA, the U.S. Department of War, and the U.S. Air Force.
The acquisition aligns with Ondas’ strategy to develop an integrated, networked intelligence architecture that combines persistent sensing, AI-driven data analysis, and autonomous response. By integrating World View’s long-endurance stratospheric capabilities with Ondas’ portfolio of autonomous aerial systems, counter-drone technologies, ground robotics, and wireless infrastructure, the combined company aims to deliver end-to-end mission workflows across complex operational environments.
Following the closing, World View will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary within Ondas Autonomous Systems. The combined platform is expected to enhance Ondas’ ability to serve defense, homeland security, allied governments, and critical infrastructure customers, while accelerating product development, scaling manufacturing, and expanding global deployment.
The companies also highlighted the growing demand for persistent, multi-domain ISR solutions, driven by defense modernization, increased airspace security requirements, and the adoption of AI-enabled sensing systems. The combined offering is positioned to address this shift toward integrated, decision-centric intelligence platforms that enable real-time detection, identification, and response across domains.
The acquisition further strengthens Ondas’ broader strategy, which includes partnerships such as its collaboration with Palantir Technologies, to build a scalable intelligence ecosystem that connects sensing, decision-making, and operational response.
KEY QUOTES:
“Persistent sensing, AI-enabled analysis, and autonomous response are rapidly becoming foundational capabilities for modern defense and security operations. World View will accelerate our systems-of-systems roadmap by extending our architecture into the stratosphere, adding long-endurance, wide-area persistence to our layered ISR strategy across air and ground domains. Just as importantly, World View will strengthen our U.S. footprint and bring established engagement with US Department of War combatant commands and allied defense customers globally. Combined with our partnership with Palantir, we are building a scalable, AI-driven intelligence platform that connects sensing, decision-making, and response across mission-critical environments.”
Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO, Ondas Inc.
“Joining forces with Ondas will allow us to accelerate our growth trajectory and execute our vision at a much larger scale. With access to Ondas’ broader platform, resources, and global go-to-market capabilities, we will be able to move faster on product development, expand our reach with defense and allied customers, and deliver integrated, multi-domain intelligence solutions more efficiently. By aligning our stratospheric platforms with Ondas’ systems-of-systems architecture and leveraging our partnership with Palantir, we are well positioned to scale deployment, deepen customer engagement, and capture the growing demand for persistent, layered ISR capabilities worldwide.”
Ryan Hartman, CEO, World View Enterprises
