Ondas announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Omnisys, an Israeli developer of AI-powered Battle Resource Optimization (BRO) software used for multi-domain defense planning and real-time battlefield decision-making. The deal represents a strategic expansion of Ondas’ software-defined autonomous defense platform as the company seeks to integrate orchestration and optimization capabilities across its growing portfolio of autonomous systems and defense technologies.

According to Ondas, Omnisys’ BRO platform has been operationally deployed for more than 25 years and is designed to coordinate sensors, autonomous systems, command-and-control systems, and defense assets operating across complex combat environments. The software supports battlefield planning, mission prioritization, and real-time resource allocation across air, ground, electronic warfare, and cyber domains.

Ondas said the acquisition strengthens its systems-of-systems strategy by adding a vendor-agnostic orchestration layer capable of integrating into existing military infrastructures. The company expects BRO to enhance coordination between ISR systems, counter-UAS platforms, strike systems, air defense technologies, and other autonomous assets within a unified operational framework.

The BRO platform uses AI algorithms and operations research methodologies to generate optimized courses of action throughout the mission lifecycle, including pre-mission planning, live operational adaptation, and post-mission analysis. Ondas noted that the technology has already been combat-proven in layered air defense environments where it helped improve operational effectiveness and maximize constrained battlefield resources.

The acquisition also adds a profitable, high-margin software business to Ondas’ portfolio, which the company believes will improve its financial profile while expanding opportunities for larger software-enabled defense contracts globally.

Ondas said the integration of Omnisys’ software with its SkyWeaver mission autonomy platform will support a unified “sense-decide-orchestrate-act” operational architecture designed to enable real-time battlefield coordination across multi-domain missions.

The company added that Omnisys’ long-standing deployment within advanced defense environments and its relationships with defense integrators could help accelerate Ondas’ expansion into additional U.S. and allied defense markets.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed in the announcement. Ondas said additional details regarding the agreement would be included in a Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

KEY QUOTES:

“Omnisys and its BRO platform will represent a major advancement of Ondas’ customer-focused systems-of-systems roadmap for autonomous defense and security solutions. BRO is a proven, battle-tested software platform that delivers meaningful operational value by improving planning, battlefield resource optimization, and real-time mission execution across complex multi-domain environments. Its vendor-agnostic architecture and interoperability across broader defense ecosystems will strengthen our ability to integrate into existing customer infrastructures and support the delivery of scalable, mission-ready solutions for global defense markets.”

Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO, Ondas

“At Ondas Autonomous Systems, our mission is to deliver integrated, combat-proven technologies that operate as a unified force in the field. With the addition of Omnisys and its BRO platform, we believe we are adding one of the most advanced and operationally validated AI decision and battlefield orchestration engines into our architecture. This enables true closed-loop operations, connecting sensors, platforms, and effectors into a single intelligent operational framework capable of detecting, deciding, orchestrating, and acting in real time across complex and dynamic battle environments.”

Oshri Lugassy, Co-CEO, Ondas Autonomous Systems

“I am incredibly proud of what Omnisys has built over the years, a mission-driven company with exceptional people, a strong culture, and a deep commitment to contributing to the security of the State of Israel. That mission led to the development of BRO, a unique, battle-proven capability that helps defense organizations optimize resources, accelerate operational decision-making, and execute complex missions in real time. We are excited to join Ondas and leverage its global reach and resources to expand the adoption of BRO across international defense markets.”
