One Call To Buy Data Dimensions To Expand Workers’ Compensation Care Coordination Platform

One Call, a technology-enabled ancillary services and care management platform serving the workers’ compensation industry, has entered into an agreement to acquire Data Dimensions, an Electronic Data Interchange clearinghouse and technology services provider serving healthcare, insurance, and government customers.

The transaction is aimed at advancing One Call’s strategy to build a more connected and integrated digital platform for the workers’ compensation ecosystem. By combining capabilities, the companies expect to streamline workflows between payers and providers while improving billing accuracy, documentation transparency, and operational consistency.

Industry processes in workers’ compensation often involve fragmented systems, multiple handoffs, and manual administrative tasks. The integration of Data Dimensions’ services with One Call’s care coordination platform is intended to reduce friction and accelerate processing for patients, providers, and payers.

Data Dimensions brings a suite of services, including Digitalization as a Service, such as mailroom and data capture, a clearinghouse platform, Providerflow workflow tools, and payment solutions. When combined with One Call’s platform, the companies expect to deliver improved end-to-end coordination for injured workers, greater efficiency for healthcare providers, and more integrated workflows for payers.

For patients, the combined platform aims to reduce care coordination handoffs and enable smoother treatment journeys, potentially leading to faster recoveries and returns to work. Providers are expected to benefit from simplified routing and improved integration across systems, reducing administrative burden. Payers are anticipated to gain improved visibility and workflow consistency as the platforms integrate.

Data Dimensions, founded in 1982, develops HIPAA-compliant solutions designed to simplify complex billing, claims, and documentation processes for healthcare organizations. The company’s technology-driven services help organizations improve data accuracy, accelerate processing, and manage high volumes of medical documentation.

Following the closing of the transaction, which is expected in the second quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals, Data Dimensions’ employees and leadership will join One Call. Until the transaction is completed, the two companies will continue operating independently.
