OnePoint BFG Wealth Partners has appointed Sam Cari as Chief Strategy Officer as the firm surpasses $16 billion in assets under management and continues to expand its national footprint through a disciplined combination of organic growth and strategic partnerships.
Cari joins OnePoint BFG from NorthRock Partners, where he spent more than a decade helping transform the firm from $600 million to $11 billion in AUM. During his tenure, he led the firm’s acquisitions, directed its enterprise risk management program, and founded its trust and estate planning practice, becoming the firm’s youngest-ever partner. In his new role at OnePoint BFG, Cari will lead corporate strategy, oversee advisory delivery functions, and spearhead M&A and inorganic growth initiatives as the firm continues to scale its integrated, planning-led platform.
The appointment comes amid continued expansion for OnePoint BFG, which recently announced a partnership with Armstrong & Sinoff Financial, building on transactions with Voyage Wealth Architects and its largest acquisition to date, Spahn Financial Partners, completed late last year. Cari will be based in the firm’s Minneapolis office, reporting directly to CEO Andy Schwartz.
OnePoint BFG operates as Bleakley Financial Group, LLC, an independent, SEC-registered investment adviser with origins dating to 1983, and manages over $16 billion in advisory assets as of March 31, 2026. The firm rebranded as OnePoint BFG Wealth Partners in July 2025.
