OpenSpace, a San Francisco-based leader in Visual Intelligence for builders, has announced the acquisition of London-based Disperse, a construction progress tracking company. The deal unites two pioneers in construction technology, combining image-based intelligence, progress analytics, and verified data into a single, trusted platform for builders worldwide.
The acquisition follows a partnership formed in June 2025, which introduced OpenSpace Progress Tracking powered by Disperse. That collaboration rapidly gained traction among customers by combining automated jobsite imagery with computer vision and human verification, enabling teams to view detailed, objective insights into completed and pending work.
Through this integration, OpenSpace enhances its Spatial AI capabilities, deepens its commitment to image-based AI workflows, and expands its ability to support owners, general contractors, and specialty contractors. The combination of technologies will enable users to analyze construction progress better, validate work-in-place for billing purposes, identify schedule risks, and streamline coordination across trades.
The unified platform integrates with leading scheduling tools, including Oracle Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, and Excel, delivering fast and accurate insights to drive better decision-making.
The partnership between OpenSpace and Disperse has already demonstrated measurable improvements for customers in billing accuracy, schedule reliability, and issue resolution. The acquisition now positions OpenSpace as the only platform that pairs industry-leading 360° capture with verified progress analytics, transforming how construction teams document, analyze, and act on project data.
The addition of Disperse’s data and team will also accelerate OpenSpace’s development of new Spatial AI models, enhancing automation, precision, and AI-powered insights. This move strengthens OpenSpace’s leadership in AI for the built world, while ensuring data transparency through its hybrid AI and human verification process—a critical factor for trustworthy automation and decision-making.
All existing Disperse customer contracts and support commitments will remain in effect without disruption. For new customers, OpenSpace Progress Tracking is now available as an add-on to OpenSpace subscriptions.

“The speed at which [OpenSpace Progress Tracking] was implemented and the speed at which we started to get real accurate data back was pretty astounding to our executive team. Because the data was accurate we could have effective two-way conversations with our field team and get answers quickly, without having to play twenty questions with them like we used to. It’s so invaluable we’ve deployed it across our entire portfolio.”
