OpenText: €105 Million Agentic AI And Sovereign Cloud Expansion To Create 400 Jobs As Cloud Bookings Jump 24%

OpenText is expanding its Agentic AI and Sovereign Cloud operations in Europe through a €105 million investment expected to create 400 jobs in Cork and Galway, Ireland, as enterprise cloud bookings continue to accelerate.

The investment is part of OpenText’s broader strategy to position trusted enterprise data as a foundational layer for artificial intelligence deployments. The company says enterprise-grade data is a key differentiator as organizations increasingly incorporate generative and agentic AI into business operations.

OpenText highlighted the planned €105 million investment and 400 new jobs among its fiscal fourth-quarter business developments. The company also became one of the first Canadian companies to join the OECD Global Safe AI Reporting Framework.

The AI expansion comes alongside improving cloud sales momentum. Enterprise cloud bookings increased 24.1% year-over-year to $295 million during the fiscal fourth quarter. Cloud revenue rose 6% to $503 million, marking 22 consecutive quarters of organic cloud growth.

For the full fiscal year, enterprise cloud bookings increased 22.5% to $947 million, while cloud revenue increased 5.5% to approximately $1.96 billion. Annual recurring revenue reached $4.25 billion.

OpenText generated $5.25 billion in fiscal-year revenue, $1.01 billion of operating cash flow and $808 million of free cash flow. Adjusted EBITDA reached $1.90 billion, representing a 36.3% margin, while GAAP net income increased 47.5% to $643 million.

In Q4, total revenue increased 2.9% to $1.35 billion. License revenue jumped 24.4% to $214.6 million, adjusted EBITDA increased 14.1% to $506.7 million, and GAAP diluted EPS increased to $0.64 from $0.11.
