Opine, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based startup building an AI-native workspace for complex B2B technical sales, has raised $5 million in financing, including $3 million in new funding led by S3 Ventures. The company said the round also included participation from Knoll Ventures, Atlanta Seed Company, Gray Ventures, Propel Ventures, Triangle Tweener Fund, and Feross Aboukhadijeh, the CEO of Socket.dev.
The company said the new capital follows a year of rapid growth, including 10x revenue growth in 2025, and is aimed at accelerating product development and go-to-market expansion. Opine positions its platform as an end-to-end system that supports the full technical sales lifecycle, from initial discovery through evaluation and into post-sale delivery, to improve coordination across teams that typically operate in disconnected tools and siloed workflows.
Opine is targeting a recurring pain point for companies selling complex enterprise technology where solution engineers, sales leaders, customer success teams, and product stakeholders must synchronize across long deal cycles. The company argues that fragmented communication and scattered documentation create costly inefficiencies, including repeated context rebuilding, reduced visibility into deal risk, and handoff failures when post-sales teams inherit customers without a complete record of what was promised during evaluation.
To address these issues, Opine said it is building a single “intelligent workspace” designed to bring teams, data sources, and processes together. The company said its system is built to surface risks earlier in a deal, automate repetitive work, capture evaluations and handoffs more accurately, and keep stakeholders aligned across the customer lifecycle.
Opine said the platform has attracted customers among high-growth software vendors, naming Docker, Tailscale, Socket.dev, Gainsight, and BigID. The company also highlighted customer feedback pointing to time savings, faster answers, and tighter internal alignment after adopting the platform.
With the new funding, Opine said it plans to advance workflow automation, real-time deal intelligence, and unified data infrastructure, while expanding its market presence as technical sales and solution engineering become increasingly central functions inside modern B2B organizations.
Opine was founded by Akash Ganapathi, Austin Kelleher, and Charlie Duong. The company describes its product as replacing spreadsheets, informal knowledge sharing, and manual updates with a single system designed around how technical sales teams operate in practice.
