Opti has raised $20 million in seed financing to accelerate the global expansion of its AI-native identity security platform. The round was led by YL Ventures, Mayfield Fund, and Hetz Ventures, with participation from Squared Circle Ventures, LocalGlobe, Maple Capital, and angel investor Shlomo Kramer. The New York-based company plans to use the capital to advance product development and scale deployments across enterprise markets.
The company is positioning its platform as a next-generation approach to identity and access management, as organizations face an expanding volume of identity-related vulnerabilities. According to Opti, enterprises continue to struggle with manual IAM processes, limited automation adoption, and a rising complexity of user-to-system relationships. Citing industry research that shows only half of organizations consider their IAM investments effective, Opti argues that automated intelligence and domain-specific large language models are becoming essential for managing identity risk at scale.
Opti’s platform uses pre-trained AI models to analyze thousands of identity data points in real time, interpret access relationships, detect vulnerabilities, and recommend least-privilege access decisions. The system also incorporates agentic AI orchestration to verify corrections with human oversight while supporting continuous compliance processes. The company already serves large enterprises across finance, retail, healthcare, and technology.
Founded in 2024 by cybersecurity veterans Barak Perelman, Mille Gandelsman, and Ido Trivizki, Opti aims to redefine how enterprises manage identity operations by reducing risk, removing complexity, and driving measurable security improvements. The new investment is expected to strengthen its position in an increasingly competitive IAM market defined by growing threats and accelerating adoption of AI-driven defense models.
KEY QUOTES
