Opti9 Technologies has acquired Aptible, broadening its footprint across managed cloud services, application modernization, and compliant platform solutions.
The acquisition deepens Opti9’s ability to support developers, startups, and enterprises seeking secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud environments. The company stated that the combined capabilities will accelerate the rollout of GenAI and large-language-model frameworks designed to help customers modernize their infrastructure and applications.
Based in New York, Opti9 is an AWS Premier Partner with a longstanding focus on hybrid cloud management, security, and application modernization. The company said it continues to see increased demand for solutions that simplify multicloud operations. Integrating Aptible’s platform gives Opti9 a more comprehensive suite of services tailored to customers seeking compliance-ready environments along with cloud-native scalability.
Aptible, which has operated for more than a decade as a Platform-as-a-Service provider, offers a streamlined experience for startups and development teams looking to deploy, monitor, and scale applications without the burden of managing infrastructure. Opti9 said the acquisition will accelerate Aptible’s product roadmap, with new capabilities expected to be revealed in the coming months.
Aptible’s Co-founder, CEO, and CTO Frank Macreery will join Opti9’s executive team, where he will continue contributing to innovation across both Aptible and Opti9’s broader solution stack. BDO served as the exclusive M&A advisor to Aptible.
Opti9 noted that the combined organization is well-positioned to help companies meet evolving cloud requirements for compute, storage, security, compliance, and performance across diverse environments. The acquisition marks a significant step in advancing Opti9’s “Right Workload, Right Cloud, Right Time” strategy for businesses operating in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
