Option Circle, a financial technology company developing an AI-driven autonomous trading platform, announced it has secured $3 million in new capital to support the commercialization and expansion of its trading infrastructure. The funding will be used to accelerate platform integration, improve operational resilience, and support a phased rollout of the company’s technology.
The financing round included Savoie Capital, an asset management firm led by CEO Paul Savoie; Wagon Wheel Capital, led by CEO and Founder James Hyde, who previously served as Head of Strategic Partnerships at the New York Stock Exchange and Co-Vice Chairman of the American Stock Exchange; investors who participated through the company’s StartEngine equity crowdfunding campaign; and a group of private investors.
Option Circle is building a regime-based trading platform designed to identify shifts in market conditions and dynamically adjust trading strategies. The system aims to move beyond static algorithmic approaches by incorporating adaptive analytics and automated execution frameworks that can respond to changes in volatility, macroeconomic factors, and liquidity conditions.
The company said the new capital will support continued system integration and governance enhancements within its automated execution infrastructure. It will also fund efforts to strengthen operational safeguards and enable a controlled commercial rollout of the platform.
In recent months, Option Circle introduced several key components of its technology architecture. These include a Volatility Intelligence Engine designed to analyze real-time volatility patterns and a next-generation backtesting engine capable of simulating strategies across both historical and synthetic market environments. The company is also developing an AI-driven Strategy Engine that will integrate with its analytics and backtesting systems to power automated trading decisions.
Option Circle has filed 38 patent applications covering various aspects of its trading architecture as part of its broader intellectual property strategy.
The company positions its platform within a broader trend toward increasing automation in financial markets. As trading environments become more complex and dynamic, systems capable of adapting to shifting market regimes are expected to play a larger role in institutional trading infrastructure.
KEY QUOTE:
“Markets are increasingly defined by rapid regime shifts across volatility cycles, macro conditions, and liquidity environments. We believe the next stage of trading infrastructure must move beyond static algorithms toward adaptive systems capable of operating with discipline across those shifts.”
