Oracle Expands AI Agent Studio With New Agentic Applications Builder And Workflow Tools

By Amit Chowdhry • Apr 5, 2026

Oracle announced a major expansion of its AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, introducing a new Agentic Applications Builder along with enhanced workflow orchestration, content intelligence, contextual memory, and ROI measurement capabilities. The updates are designed to help organizations move beyond experimental AI pilots and deploy scalable, outcome-driven AI systems across enterprise operations.

The expanded platform enables businesses to build, connect, and run AI agents and agentic applications using natural language, without requiring traditional coding. These agents are capable of reasoning, executing multi-step processes across enterprise systems, and continuously improving through contextual awareness. Oracle emphasized that the platform is built with enterprise-grade governance, security, and observability to ensure responsible and measurable AI adoption.

A central addition is the Agentic Applications Builder, which allows users to assemble applications from Oracle, partner, and third-party agents. The system supports workflow orchestration across complex processes, enabling coordination between multiple agents with built-in logic, rules, and human oversight.

Other enhancements include content intelligence, which transforms unstructured and structured enterprise data into actionable insights, and contextual memory, which allows agents to retain and share relevant information across tasks and workflows. The platform also introduces multimodal large language model capabilities, enabling agents to process and generate outputs across text, images, audio, and video.

To support deployment and scaling, Oracle added monitoring and observability tools, including a prompt playground for testing and refining agent behavior. A new ROI dashboard provides visibility into business impact, including time savings, cost reductions, and productivity gains.

Oracle noted that more than 63,000 certified experts are now trained on AI Agent Studio, helping organizations identify use cases and accelerate implementation. The platform is available at no additional cost for Oracle Fusion Applications customers and integrates directly with Oracle’s ERP, HCM, SCM, and CX systems.

The company positioned these updates as a step toward enabling fully autonomous enterprise operations, where AI agents move beyond assisting users to actively executing business processes at scale.
