OrangeQS: €15 Million Seed Extension And Industry Partnerships Advance Quantum Chip Testing Platform

By Amit Chowdhry • Apr 23, 2026

OrangeQS announced the extension of its seed funding round to €15 million with a new investment from the European Innovation Council Fund, alongside the launch of a strategic partnership program with leading quantum hardware companies.

The round, now oversubscribed, will support the continued development of OrangeQS MAX, the company’s automated quantum chip testing system designed to accelerate validation and production workflows. The additional funding builds on earlier backing from the EIC Accelerator program, which supported the initial development of the platform.

In parallel, OrangeQS introduced the OrangeQS MAX Partnership Program, bringing together early collaborators including Rigetti Computing, QuantWare, and Peak Quantum. The initiative is designed to align OrangeQS’s product roadmap with the evolving needs of quantum chip manufacturers while preserving each partner’s intellectual property.

The program will initially focus on advancing cryogenic integrated circuits and non-destructive testing methods, two critical areas for scaling quantum hardware. By enabling faster, high-throughput testing, OrangeQS aims to address a key bottleneck in quantum computing development as the industry moves toward commercial production.

The OrangeQS MAX platform, first launched in 2024 and deployed to customers including IQM Quantum Computers, provides a turnkey solution for automated chip diagnostics, supporting both research and industrial-scale applications.

The funding and partnerships underscore growing momentum in the quantum ecosystem, where improved testing infrastructure is essential to accelerate innovation and manufacturing efficiency.

OrangeQS also highlighted its broader vision for “utility-grade” quantum chip testing, positioning its technology as a foundational component for future large-scale quantum manufacturing environments.

KEY QUOTES:

“This investment reflects the EIC Fund’s commitment to backing Europe’s most ambitious deep tech innovators. By advancing quantum chip performance validation, OrangeQS is addressing a key bottleneck in scaling quantum technologies.”

Svetoslava Georgieva, Chair Of The Board, EIC Fund

“OrangeQS MAX already sets new industry benchmarks for high-volume, automated quantum chip testing. With our new Partnership Program and support of EIC Fund, we are set to consolidate our leading position in one of the most challenging parts of the quantum computing sector as it scales towards commercial production.”
