Orbio AI announced that it has raised $21 million in funding to accelerate the expansion of its AI-powered workforce management platform and bring its technology to frontline workers worldwide. The funding round was backed by Visionaries, Dawn Capital, Plus Partners, Enzo Ventures, Endeavor Catalyst, 2100 Ventures, and GP Compas.

The company said it was founded a year ago with the belief that traditional systems supporting frontline employees and HR teams were fundamentally inadequate. Orbio AI aims to help organizations automate recruiting and employee support processes, giving human resources teams more time to focus on talent and workforce development.

According to Orbio AI, its platform is already being used across a variety of industries, including healthcare, retail, staffing, food and beverage, and home security. Customers include Ribera Salud, AWWG, The Adecco Group, Marlex, Honest Greens, VICIO, Yum! Brands, Burger King, and Popeyes Iberia.

The company said it now serves more than 100 customers across Europe, the United States, Latin America, and Asia. Through channels including WhatsApp, voice, and SMS, Orbio AI has engaged with more than 2 million candidates and facilitated over 20 million conversations through its AI assistant, MarIA.

Orbio AI reported that customers using the platform have achieved an 85% faster time-to-hire, reduced administrative costs by 80%, lowered employee churn by 19%, and reached candidate satisfaction levels of 98%.

The company believes artificial intelligence can make workforce management more human by ensuring candidates receive responses promptly, employees obtain support instantly, and managers gain insights that enable earlier intervention.

Orbio AI said the new capital will support continued growth and expansion as demand increases for AI-powered solutions that help organizations recruit, engage, and retain frontline workers more effectively.
