Orderful announced that it has raised $35 million in Series C funding led by Koch Disruptive Technologies. NewRoad Capital Partners also participated in the round. The financing brings Orderful’s total funding to $85 million. Orderful’s previous investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Initialized Capital, 9Yards Capital, Flume Ventures, NFI Ventures, and GLP Capital Partners.
The company is building an AI-native EDI platform designed to replace manual integration work with intelligent and automated infrastructure.
Orderful said the new capital will support capabilities that have historically been missing from the EDI industry, including complete visibility into trading data, the ability to act on that data in real time, and intelligence that turns trading data into decisions that protect margins and drive growth.
The company has processed more than 6 billion EDI transactions over the past nine years across a network spanning more than 50,000 unique trading partner requirements.
Orderful said this scale gives it the data and intelligence needed to address longstanding complexity in the EDI market.
For retailers, brands, and logistics providers, the platform is designed to help accelerate revenue-generating trading relationships, reduce supply chain disruptions and errors, and remove EDI as a bottleneck to growth.
Orderful launched Mosaic, its AI-native EDI platform, in December 2025. Mosaic is designed to eliminate the manual mapping work that has historically taken months of IT resources.
The platform compresses partner onboarding to hours or days compared to traditional industry timelines measured in months.
Mosaic is built around a canonical API that can communicate with the broader EDI ecosystem through a single integration. The system uses context-rich AI to read each trading partner’s specification document, generate compliant guidelines and maps, and maintain those guidelines and maps as specifications change.
Koch Disruptive Technologies led the round based on its belief that Orderful’s approach can modernize EDI infrastructure and address persistent complexity across global trade.
KDT is expected to provide flexible capital and access to the broader Koch network of commercial partners and subject matter experts, helping Orderful accelerate enterprise partnerships.
Orderful’s platform includes Mosaic, its AI-native integration platform, and Pixel, its browser-based Web EDI solution. The company serves retailers, brands, logistics providers, and ERP ecosystems that connect trading partners.
KEY QUOTES:
“Mosaic truly meets the complexity of modern commerce. EDI has been broken for 40+ years. Not because the problem was unsolvable, but because no one was willing to rebuild it from the ground up. With Mosaic, we did. Long implementations, custom mappings, and chargebacks are over. This raise with KDT lets us bring that reality to every corner of global commerce, and I’ve never been more confident we’re the team to do it.”
Erik Kiser, Founder and CEO of Orderful
“KDT invests in principled entrepreneurs building technologies that improve critical systems and workflows. Erik and the Orderful team have built something rare: a modern, AI-native platform that solves a real, persistent challenge at the center of global trade. We see an opportunity to leverage the broader Koch network to support the team as they scale and expand their commercial partnerships.”
Jon Chisholm, Managing Director at Koch Disruptive Technologies
“The Mosaic launch was a meaningful inflection point, one that reinforced everything we envisioned when we first partnered with the Orderful team. The opportunity ahead, connecting the world’s trading partners through modern infrastructure, is even larger than we anticipated, and we have full confidence they are the team to realize it.”
Gregoire Lehmann, Partner at NewRoad Capital
“The supply chain technology sector has needed a platform that matches the intelligence and speed of the businesses running on top of it. Orderful is building exactly that, and with this capital, they have the runway to expand those capabilities into every layer of how enterprises manage their trading relationships. The combination of AI-native architecture, a growing partner network, and world-class execution makes Orderful one of the most compelling infrastructure investments in logistics technology today.”
