Organic Traditions Raises $10.5 Million Series A To Expand U.S. Retail And Functional Wellness Portfolio

Organic Traditions has raised $10.5 million in Series A funding, equivalent to approximately C$15 million, to accelerate its expansion across the United States. The round was backed by strategic angel investors with experience in consumer packaged goods, retail, technology and operations.

The investor group includes executives and operators associated with FreshPet, Shopify, City National Bank, Frito-Lay and Colgate-Palmolive. Organic Traditions plans to use the capital to expand its U.S. retail presence, grow its e-commerce business and invest in product development.

The Toronto-based company will also expand its team and infrastructure to support continued growth across North America. The financing represents a new phase for the family-founded business under second-generation leadership.

Organic Traditions was founded more than 25 years ago by Jerry Zeifman and is now led by his daughter, Ally Mamalider. The company has developed a portfolio of functional lattes, mushroom coffees, daily greens, fiber smoothies and other superfood products.

Its products combine ingredients associated with traditional wellness practices, including Ayurveda and cacao rituals, with convenient formats designed for modern routines. The portfolio is positioned around areas such as energy, immunity, digestive health, sleep and general wellness.

Organic Traditions reported revenue growth of 70% over the past three years under Mamalider’s leadership. The company attributed the increase to product innovation, digital expansion and the continued development of its brand.

Over the next 12 months, Organic Traditions projects revenue growth of 36% across Canada and the U.S. The company expects U.S. retail revenue to increase by 82%, while e-commerce revenue is projected to grow by 64%.

Organic Traditions plans to enter more than 1,500 U.S. retail locations during the year. Its products are already available through retailers including Erewhon, Fresh Thyme, Earth Fare, MOM’s Organic Market, Jewel-Osco and Better Health.

The company also distributes its products through more than 6,000 stores across Canada. Its online channels include Amazon and its direct-to-consumer website.

A major portion of the company’s innovation strategy centers on Fiber Flow, a product line intended to help consumers increase their daily fiber consumption. Each single-serving stick contains eight grams of fiber, along with prebiotics and probiotics, and is formulated without sugar.

Fiber Flow launched at Costco Canada earlier in 2026 and sold out three times during its first two weeks of online availability. Organic Traditions expects the product platform to grow by more than 200% over the next 12 months.

The company plans to use part of the Series A funding to develop additional Fiber Flow products and conduct clinical trials. These investments are intended to support further validation and broaden the line’s commercial potential.

Organic Traditions is also seeing demand for established products including its Probiotic Matcha Latte, which has received more than 2,000 five-star reviews. Its Focus Fuel Mushroom Coffee is sold through major Canadian retailers and is positioned as one of the company’s leading functional beverage products.

The funding will help Organic Traditions increase distribution while maintaining its focus on accessible, food-based wellness products. The company intends to combine its established Canadian presence with faster growth across U.S. retail and digital commerce.
