OriginPoint Mortgage has added the We Fund LA mortgage team, bringing more than $200 million in annual mortgage production to the company as it expands across Southern California.
The team is co-managed by Daniel Arias and Ron Sequeira and joins OriginPoint from New American Funding.
Arias has 22 years of mortgage industry experience and works with borrowers and real estate professionals across Los Angeles, Southern California, and Santa Barbara.
His industry recognition includes President’s Council honors, placement among the top 1% of U.S. mortgage originators, and repeated recognition as a Scotsman Guide Top Originator.
Through We Fund LA, Arias, Sequeira, and their team have focused on combining a broad range of mortgage products with proprietary technology and a personalized customer service model.
The group specializes in solving complex financing situations and has established relationships with borrowers and real estate professionals throughout Southern California.
OriginPoint said the team will play a role in accelerating its growth across the region.
The lender is positioning its platform around competitive pricing, technology, operational support, and access to resources associated with the Compass International Holdings relationship.
OriginPoint operates nationally and focuses on supporting high-producing mortgage professionals while serving their borrowers and real estate referral partners.
The company said its approach combines the scale and resources of a larger lending platform with locally focused service and relationship-based origination.
For Arias and the broader We Fund LA team, the move is intended to support continued market share growth while providing access to additional products and infrastructure.
