Orion announced that Yi-Ching Wu has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Wealth Management Product and Platform as the company continues expanding its advisor-focused wealth management capabilities.
In the new role, Wu will oversee initiatives designed to support the continued growth of Orion Wealth Management while advancing the company’s investment product offerings and platform integration strategy.
According to Orion, Wu will focus on helping advisors deliver more personalized client outcomes through unified wealth management tools designed to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and household-level financial planning coordination.
Wu brings more than two decades of experience across wealth management, investment product development, and platform strategy. Prior to joining Orion, she held a senior leadership role at AssetMark, where she managed proprietary and third-party investment platforms and led initiatives involving product innovation, pricing optimization, and strategic partnerships.
Earlier in her career, Wu worked at Schwab in product development and management roles involving large-scale proprietary investment lineups and the launch of Schwab’s exchange-traded fund offerings.
Orion stated that Wu’s appointment comes as advisors increasingly seek integrated wealth management platforms that combine investment products, technology infrastructure, data connectivity, and workflow automation.
The company said Orion’s platform currently supports portfolio management, financial planning, CRM, reporting, AI-enabled workflows, and integrations designed for independent advisory firms and wealth management organizations.
As of March 31, 2026, Orion reported servicing approximately $5.9 trillion in assets under administration and $185 billion in wealth management platform assets.
Wu holds an MBA from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
