ORIX Aviation To Acquire AerFin And Expand Aircraft Aftermarket Capabilities

ORIX Aviation has agreed to acquire AerFin, expanding its services across the aircraft leasing, asset management and aviation aftermarket lifecycle. Financial terms were not included.

AerFin provides aircraft and engine trading, inventory management, component sales, leasing, repair management and engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services.

The company serves airlines, aircraft lessors and maintenance providers and employs more than 230 people across facilities in the United Kingdom, Miami, Singapore and Dublin.

ORIX Aviation was established in 1991 and owns and manages aircraft through a full-service operating lease platform.

It also provides aircraft asset management services to Japanese and international investors and investment funds.

The acquisition will extend ORIX Aviation’s capabilities from leasing and asset management into aircraft part-out, component supply and aftermarket services.
