Orkes: $60 Million Raised For AI Orchestration Platform Scaling Enterprise Agent Deployments

Orkes, an agentic workflow orchestration platform built by the original architects of Netflix’s microservices orchestration system, announced it has raised $60 million in Series B funding as demand accelerates for tools that enable reliable AI deployment in production environments. The round was led by AVP, with participation from Prosperity7 Ventures and existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Battery Ventures, and Vertex Ventures US.

The company’s platform is designed to help developers build, orchestrate, and operate AI agents and complex workflows with enterprise-grade reliability, observability, and governance. As enterprises move from AI experimentation toward real-world deployment, Orkes is positioning itself as a critical infrastructure layer that ensures AI systems behave predictably at scale.

Since its $20 million Series A in 2024, Orkes has expanded rapidly, growing a global developer community with millions of installs and tripling its customer base. Its platform is used by more than 3,000 enterprises worldwide, including major organizations such as United Wholesale Mortgage, Quest Diagnostics, Twilio, LinkedIn, and Woodside Energy. The company also maintains Conductor, the open-source orchestration engine originally developed at Netflix, which continues to see increasing adoption across large enterprises.

The funding comes at a time when enterprises are under pressure to demonstrate return on investment from AI initiatives. While global AI software spending is projected to reach $450 billion in 2026, many organizations remain stuck in pilot stages due to challenges around orchestration, security, and scalability. Orkes aims to close this gap by providing a production-ready execution layer for AI agents and workflows.

Its platform includes capabilities such as agentic workflows that combine structured processes with large-language-model-driven decision-making, a durable runtime for AI agents, tools for converting APIs into safe interfaces for AI systems, and prompt-to-workflow functionality that translates natural language into deployable workflows. These features are designed to enable organizations to move beyond experimental AI applications and into mission-critical operations.

Customers are already leveraging Orkes for real-world use cases. Naveo Commerce, for example, uses the platform to manage dynamic fulfillment and supply chain operations, allowing AI agents to monitor inventory, detect disruptions, and respond autonomously in real time.

With this latest funding, Orkes plans to expand its platform and grow adoption across industries, strengthening its position as a foundational layer for enterprise AI deployment.
